WE’RE BACK After a long and anxious wait, we’re thrilled to announce that following the government’s recent announcement, The Hippodrome will return this summer from Saturday August 1st. We are planning a unique 2020 Summer Special, which will include all of your favourite elements from our award winning show. Amazing acrobats, aerialists, daring stunts, dancers, swimmers and of course the world famous Water Spectacular. All hosted by Jack Jay and the Hilarious Johnny Mac, its been a long start to the year, its time to finally say ‘I’m Enjoying Myself!’ We will of course we operating in a covid safe way and continuing to adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout the theatre. Extra information regarding 2020 Summer Show Can me and my family sit together or will be be distanced apart? Yes your whole booking will be able to sit together, side by side. The next group will then be safely booked with a distance inbetween. How much space will there be between my group and the next? There will be safe social distancing between your group and the next. In most cases there is going to be a full empty row infront and behind your party. With a social distanced spaces to the sides of you before the next group is seated. How do I book? The Hippodrome’s Easter blockbuster show Pirates Live! Returns on the 2nd to 26th April, with a brand new production for 2020. This all action pirate water show has been called “phenomenal” by the Eastern Daily Press and for good reason, this immense production brings together a motley crew of pirates, fire eaters, acrobats, aerialists and hilarious comedy in an experience like no other. Pirate of the Year Competition 2017

This easter Pirates Live the all action pirate water show will be hosting the first Pirate of The Year competition.   Firstly the show itself, which has been written by popular comedy duo Jack Jay and Johnny Mac, will centre around the ferocious swashbuckling battle between pirates from all corners of the world to become Pirate of the Year and claim the prize treasure. The show is packed full of sensational circus acts, fire breathers, and insane comedy antics. All set in the incredible immersive staging created especially for the Hippodromes legendary arena   But there will also be the chance for the audience to enter the competition themselves and take home an amazing “treasure chest” of Hippodrome prizes for themselves. Thanks to everyone who came down to see Clive Webb and Danny Adams in Cirque Du Hilarious last week. Loads of fun and complete mayhem as usual. Clive and Danny are back on tour all the way through 2015 and will hopefully be returning to The Hippodrome in 2016
