Can me and my family sit together or will be be distanced apart?
Yes your whole booking will be able to sit together, side by side. The next group will then be safely booked with a distance inbetween.
How much space will there be between my group and the next?
There will be safe social distancing between your group and the next. In most cases there is going to be a full empty row infront and behind your party. With a social distanced spaces to the sides of you before the next group is seated.
How do I book?
You can only book over the phone with our box office, not online.

Why can’t I book online?
In order to safely and efficiently book each performance, this must be done by our trained staff to ensure you and your family are in an appropriately sized area.
Can I adjust my booking after I have made it?
Unfortunately we cannot adjust any bookings or party sizes once the booking is made, as this will effect the social distancing for the next group.
Will there be an interval?
No this Summer Special will not have a break.
Why will there not be a break?
The interval of a show can be a very busy and crowded time in our public areas, this would not be possible to. Manage efficiently. This way we can focus on keeping your experience safe and low risk.
Are there the usual services like food sales and toilets available?
We will be selling a limited menu of our food and drink items. And our toilet services will be open, but as a heritage theatre we are limited in space for these.
Am I required to wear a mask?
It is not compulsory for people to wear a mask in the auditorium, but anyone who wishes to do so is very welcome.
Is there parking at the Theatre?
We don’t have our own parking, there is on street parking around the area. And pay and display parking on the seafront. At peak times parking and travel to the building can take a little time so please allow extra time for this, as we will need longer than usual to seat everyone safely.
What time should I arrive at the show?
We will begin seating audience members 45 minutes before each performance. We would like to ask customers to arrive as early in this window as possible. Late arrivals close too or after the beginning of the show may be asked to wait until an appropriate gap in the performance to be seated so may miss some of the action.
