The Hippodrome returns this summer with an all new world class spectacular circus and water show featuring the world’s best circus artistes in a brand new block buster show – from the USA, RINGLING BROS BARNUM AND BAILEY circus THE FLYING PAGES a classic flying trapeze act with the legendary triple summersault and terrifying 40ft leaps from the Russian swing, – return of the world’s best juggler ROBERTO KARLOS direct from a south American tour with Cirque du Soleil, with a new twist in honour of the latest star wars film – see it to believe it! – from Italy a brand new act that is set to take the circus world by storm, the TOGNI BROTHERS from the respected Italian royal dynasty of circus.

Peter Jay said ‘we have been searching for an act like this for many years and have never ever had one in our 35 years at the Hippodrome. The Togni Brothers are sensational and I foresee a circus cult fan following with these two handsome and super talented Italians’

The hit of the new Norfolk ‘Entertainment phenomenon’ Pirates Live, MIKAL returns with his outstanding trapeze Washington over the huge hippodrome water spectacle and his handstand act with a new specially engineered ending that has to be seen to be believed.

Hippodrome comedy favourites JACK JAY and JOHNNY MAC return again in a brand new outing specially written by Jack Jay that will contain many of the hallmarks of the Easter & Halloween hit shows and will mark a turning point in the summer spectaculars history. Jack is currently in the USA hosting the world shooting event in Georgia and then will travel route 66 from Chicago to L.A via Las Vegas ending up in San Francisco where he is putting the finishing touches to the new script and scouting for an exciting twist to the hippodromes 113 year old history.

The unique water spectacular one of only three in the world climaxes the show with swimmers, dancers and special effects, 100 thousand ping pong balls aerialists and much more in this yet untitled block buster of a show, looks set to break all previous records. Peter Jay, hippodrome owner said ‘advance bookings stand at an all-time high, the show is going to be sensational and Gt Yarmouth looks to be moving forward with our new illuminations and much more. We have people coming from all over the country to see our shows & enjoy Yarmouth’s unique blend of history, culture and fun – just like the hippodrome show, its going to be a summer to remember for years to come’

VIP tickets are also available and have been a great success at Xmas and Easter with a special entrance, dedicated butler, free drinks and snacks, novelties and programmes and a guided museum tour.

A great lighting design by Ben Jay and dynamic choreography from Estelle Clifton have just won producer Jack Jay the Gt Yarmouth’s special award for new attractions and investment for the Pirate and Halloween shows. The lighting and choreography of the new summer show demonstrate the whole of the Jay Family’s commitment to making the hippodrome in Gt Yarmouth the country’s favourite tourist destination for holiday makers. For locals they have one of the world’s great circus buildings and first class acts from all over the world in a spectaculars show right on their door step.
